Upcoming Special Film Screenings

On Location: MEMPHIS announces our new montly film screenings!  Held at various locations around Memphis, the OLM Monthly Film Screenings Series is developed to entice and include audiences from all over Memphis - from Midtown to Cordova, from Downtown to Collierville.  Wherever you are, we'll bring a dynamic film to YOU!  Here's what's coming up:

MARCH

REEL ART

March 19, 7 pm - Join us at Marshall Arts, 639 Marshall Avenue, Memphis for the first annual Reel Art show and auction.  Artwork from local artists that are film-themed or inspired by film will be showcased and included in a silent auction.   Free admission, entertainment by local musicians, and local films will be projected during the show.

OLM 11 PREVIEW PARTY
Friday, March 26, during Trolley Night at Sue Layman Designs, 125 East G E Patterson.  Get a sneek peak at this year's line up for the 11th annual On Location: MEMPHIS film & music fest - film, music, great food and wine and more!  Free admission!  Passes for the Festival coming up in April will be on sale at special prices - get one while you can!

ALLE ANDEREN sponsored by the Memphis and Shelby County Film & Television Commission and presented in partnership with the Memphis Council for International Visitors.

A favorite from the Berlinale International Film Festival- April 1st 7 pm at Brooks Museum of Art!  Alle Anderen, was nominated for the GOLDEN BEAR AWARD, won 2 SILVER BEAR AWARDS - Best Actress, Birgit Minichmayer and GRAND JURY PRIX.   The film tells the story of Gitti and Chris, an odd couple who are battling their way through a holiday of secluded togetherness. It is an intimate portrait of two people as they can only be when alone: their secret rituals, their silliness, their unfulfilled dreams and their power struggles.For more about the film, check out the official Berlinale page!

11th annual On Location: MEMPHIS international film fest - 2010
