(Memphis,TN–March 1, 2012) On Location:MEMPHISis proud to announce that, for the second straight year, they have been awarded a grant from the Film Fest Committee of the Broadcast Film Critics Association (BFCA).
The BFCA, whose membership is comprised of print and TV film critics including Robert Osborne from Turner Classic Movies and Memphis’ own John Beifuss from the Commercial Appeal, established their Film Fest Committee in 2007 to “expand the BFCA’s international reach and profile.” For the second year, as part of their mission to provide financial support to festivals that feature significant member participation and member involvement in juries, panels and workshops, the BFCA has granted On Location: MEMPHISa monetary award. This grant will help On Location: MEMPHIS in presenting its 13th annual international film and music fest April 19-22, 2012 at various Malco Theatre sites around the city.
On Location: MEMPHIS is honored to have received this grant and thanks the BFCA for their recognition of our efforts.
