Each year the Academy Awards honor a short film in the categories of Animation, Live Action and Documentary. Prior to the Oscar’s Telecast, the Academy allows moviegoers from across the country the special opportunity to see their Oscar Nominated Shorts. On Location:Memphis is proud to present the Oscar Nominated Shorts in the categories of Animation and Live Action. Come and see all the nominees for both categories at Studio on the Square in Memphis, TN on Feb. 3 & 4, 2015. This is your annual chance to predict the winners and have an edge on being an Oscar Night Winner.
This year as a part of our Sweet 16 Year of Giving, we are asking those who have supported us by attending the Oscar Shorts screenings to also support the Ronald McDonald House Charities Memphis. You may give at the time you purchase your Oscar Shorts Ticket and/or join us on Feb. 22, 2015, at Strano Sicilian Kitchen and Bar Memphis for our first annual Oscar Watch Night Party. This year’s party is to benefit the Ronald McDonlad House Charities Memphis. This event is free to the public, just bring a donation and join the fun.
