The Memphis screening of the Manhattan Shorts presented by On Location: MEMPHIS was last night on Beale. Special Thanks to Blues City Cafe and their staff for all of their support. We had a great turnout, and practically filled the Band Box. Mrs. Linn Sitler of the Memphis and Shelby County Film Commission was in attendance. We were happy to see her there and greatly appreciate her support. Everyone enjoyed the films and voted for their favorites. We showcased a total of 10 short films. Manhattan Shorts is a shorts festival that takes place around the world within the span of one week. They feature films from all over the world – a truly international event. We got to view them and support them last night. We had a couple great giveaways at the end of the night. Robert Williams and Christina Pinkham both won a DVD compilation of our 8th Film Fest and a full Festival Pass to our International Film & Music Fest coming up next year. We were so thrilled to able to bring this to Memphis and encourage and inspire others with featuring 10 great independent films from around the world. Thanks again to everyone at Blues City Cafe and of course to The Manhattan Shorts Film Festival, which without them, this would not have been possible.
